• On September 16, 1997, a Staff Meeting was held wherein the
following items were discussed:
1 . Director of Community Development was questioned about
proliferation of administrative matters before the
Community Appearance Board.
2 . Director of Community Development was questioned as to
why Reverse Osmosis Treatment Plant Project went to CAB
before Village Council.
3. Water System Manager was questioned as to status of sale
of excess Water Department 1-and on Bridge Road.
4 . Director of Finance was advised of Cypress Drive Drainage
Project assessment discrepancies.
5 . Village Clerk advised that new furniture delivery would
commence on September 18 .
6 . Village Clerk advised of modification to standardized
mail procedures .
7 . Village Clerk distributed new wage law posters to be
posted throughout the Village.
8 .. Director of Community Development advised of Sterling
House request.
9 . Director of Community Development advised of LEMN Meeting
for post-disaster activities .
10. Water System Manager advised of need to have concrete
work approved by Village Council at entrance to new
Garage Facility.
11 . Lt. Garlo sought direction relative to drug testing for
worker' s compensation claims .
12 . Director of Public Works advised of bid opening for
Recreation Center on 9/23/97 .
13 . Director of Public Works advised of striping contractor
work sequence.
14. Director of Public Works sought direction relative to
tree removal at Azalea Circle.
15. Director of Public Works advised of Bayview Terrace
drainage problems and contracts to correct the same.
16. Director of Public Works advised that South Florida Water
Management District required weir structure to be
installed at Dover Ditch.
17 . Director of Public Works advised of Seabrook Road
landscape installation schedule.
18. Director of Public Works advised of employee worker ' s
compensation injury.
19 . The Fire Chief advised that PC network installation was
complete.
• Attended the Special Village Council Meeting at 4 : 00 p.m. on
September 16 .
• Attended the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Meeting at
7 :45 a.m. on September 17 .
• Attended the Mayor/Manager' s Meeting at Juno Beach at 4 : 00 p.m.
on September 17 .
• Met with United States Postal Service Real Estate. Specialist
relative to Tequesta postal facility location at 10 : 00 a.m. on
September 18 .
• Participated in Staff Meeting relative to financing of Reverse
Osmosis Treatment Facility at 9 : 30 a.m. on September 19 .
• The Water Department Monthly Water Usages Report and Monthly
Water Quality Analysis Report for the Month of August 1997 is
attached hereto and made a part of this Report.
