3 . Chief of Police requested to provide directed patrol via
radar surveillance on northern section of Country Club
Drive due to citizen requests.
4 . Chief of Police was requested to provide status of
communications via contractual services.
5 . Water System Manager advised that Central Garage Project
was scheduled for completion in February 1997 .

6 . Director of Finance was requested to oversee a photo
inventory of all property for insurance purposes .
7 . Fire Chief advised of pests in firehouse and directed to
provide a plan eradicating the same.
8 . Fire Chief provided a computer network update.
9 . Water System Manager sought a copy of Deed from Village
Clerk for Bridge Road property.
10 . Water System Manager requested to be excused from 6/13/96
Village Council Meeting.
11 . Village Clerk reported on quotation for cleaning contract
for Tequesta Recreation Center.
• Met with Councilmember Hansen at 2 : 30 P.M. on June 11 .
• Attended a Budget Review Meeting at 10 : 00 A.M. on June 12 .
• Met with Mayor Mackail and Village Attorney at 2 : 30 P.M. on
June 12 .
• Met with Jupiter Officials at 3 : 30 P.M. on June 12 .
• Attended the Village Council Meeting at 7 : 00 P.M. on June 13 .
• Attended a Budget Review Meeting on the Water Department at
10 : 00 A.M. on June 19 .
• Attended the North County Manager/Finance Director Luncheon in
the Town of Jupiter at 12 : 00 P.M. on June 19 .
• Met with officials from FPL at 10: 00 A.M. on June 21 .
• Met with CWA Official regarding proposed retirement plan at
2 : 00 P.M. on June 21 .
• Met with Carlton Stoddard and Sir John Van Kesteren at 3 :00
P.M. on June 24 to discuss Camelot Cultural Facility.
• A Staff Meeting was conducted on June 25, 1996, at 10: 00 A.M. ,
wherein the following items were discussed.
1 . A discussion was held with the Water System Manager
relative to feasibility of Distribution Foreman position.
2 . Water System Manager was questioned about status of
Safety Committee Meetings .
3 . The Director of Public Works was requested to provide his
opinion on filling of Public Works Crew Leader position.

4 . Finance Director was requested to provide a status report
on budget document completion.
5 . Building Official advised of several properties left out
of mailing list for Ordinance No. 377 .
6. Police Chief reported on Florida statewide disaster
mutual aid, advising that B.T. Kennedy would be sending
full contract.
7 . Chief of Police suggested that a Radiological Defense
Officer should be designated for Village of Tequesta in
the event of nuclear attack.
8. Chief of Police advised that F. S. 125 . 0101 authorizes
Palm Beach County to contract services .
9 . Public Works Director advised that parking lot striping
would be done by Best Line.
10. Director of Public Works advised that Tequesta Drive and
U. S . One Streetscapes were currently installed.
11 . Public Works Director advised that maintenance contracts
were forthcoming for Constitution Park and U. S . One.
12 . Director of Public Works questioned whether VOT would be
closed on July 5 for non-public safety employees .
13 . Fire Chief reported on recent meeting with Palm Beach
County Fire-Rescue.
14 . Director of Finance advised that refuse and recycling ad
for Public Hearing on 7/25/96 would be provided by him
with forthcoming ad deadline.
15 . ' Director of Finance advised that Stormwater Rate Public
Hearing must be held in August or September.
16 . Water System Manager reported on reverse osmosis well
boring progress.
17 . Water System Manager advised that funding had been
allocated sufficiently for retirement benefits for plant
operator trainee.
18 . Village Clerk advised Water System Manager that she was
unable to locate Bridge Road property deed.

19 . Village Clerk advised that Property Appraiser seeking
leases to tax for profit corporations or cities for
leaseholds.
20. Village Clerk reported on new postal service rates and
bar code requirements .

■ Met with Director of Finance to finalize budget questions and
provide direction at 10 : 00 A.M. on June 28.
■ Attended the Special Village Council Meeting at 7 : 00 P.M. on
July 2 .
■ Attended Closed-Door Session of Village Council at 5 : 30 P.M. on
July 3 .
■ Memorandum to Village Council Regarding Establishment of

■ A Staff Meeting was held on July 9, 1996, wherein the following
items were discussed:
1 . Building Official was questioned about status of Unity of
Control Ordinance.
2 . Building Official questioned about status of ordinance
removing ECF options .
3 . Director of Public Works was requested to notify property
owners on Seabrook Road of forthcoming drainage and
landscape construction plans .
4 . Village Manager advised Building Official and Chief of
Police of problems associated with Tequesta Oaks parking,
requesting Chief of Police to conduct meeting of the
three to find solution to same.

5 . Director of Public Works requested to provide
recommendation relative to Public Works Crew Leader
position.
6 . Chief of Police advised to ensure that Constitution Park
opened at 6: 00 A.M. sharp.
7 . Director of Public Works requested to review Refuse and
Recycling Franchise fee requirements for commercial
property owners .
8 . Water System Manager questioned about status of annex
building re-roof job.
9 . Water System Manager questioned about Safety Committee
Meeting.
10 . Public Works Director questioned about drainage ponds at
Tequesta Country Club.
11 . Director of Public Works requested a meeting to review
Stormwater Coordinator advertisement requirements .
12 . Director of Public Works advised of Hold Harmless
Agreement for cracked driveway and requested to have same
checked by Village Attorney for legal form and
sufficiency.
13 . Chief of Police advised of receipt of Statewide Mutual
Aid Agreement.
14 . Water System Manager advised that deed to Bridge Road
property had been located.
15 . Village Clerk advised of complaints relative to entrance
to Constitution Park from Dover Road and public safety
concerns relative to the same.
16 . Village Clerk reviewed well water filter proposal at
Constitution Park.
