Bradford, Village Manager Date: May 3, 1995 Subject: Appointments to the Country Club Drive Task Force; Agenda Item Assuming that the Village Council passes Resolution No. 21-94/95 creating the Country Club' Drive Task Force, the next step in the process is to appoint people to the same. In this regard, I have contacted the following people to determine their interest in serving on the Task Force: 1 ) Bill Treacy - Resident of Country Club Drive 2 ) Joan Marshal - Resident of Country Club Drive and current president of the Jupiter-Tequesta-Hobe Sound Board of Realtors • 3 ) Gary Collins - President Tequesta Country Club Community Association 4) Mac Goodner - Tequesta Business Association. Mr. Goodner is out of town as of this writing. His willingness to serve will be confirmed prior to the Village Council Meeting. 5) Mike Montefusco - Tequesta Country Club Pointe Property Owners Association It is recommended that the Village Council appoint the above referenced individuals to the task force so that its work may commence and any others the Village Council feels would be appropriate. Bradford, Village Manager Date: April 21 , 1995 7 Subject: v Country Club Drive Task Force Outline In response to the request of the Village Council made at o meeting on' April 13, 1995, appearingbelow Y un outline for the makeup of the proposed Country ClubsDri e Task Force. COUNTRY CLUB DRIVE TASK FORCE 1 ) Two residents living directly on Country Club Drive should be considered- for the Task Force. In this regard, I was thinking of Bill Treacy and Joan Marshal. 2 ) A representative from the Tequesta Country Club Community should be represented on the Task Force. In this regard, I was thinking of Gary Collins . 3) A representative of the Tequesta Business Association should be on the Task Force. Ed Nelson or Mac Goodner would be good in this regard. 4) The Chamber of Commerce should have a member on the committee. The Executive Director should be contacted in this regard. 5) Tequesta Country Club Pointe Property Owners Association should be contacted for a member on the Task Force. 6) A Bermuda Terrace resident would be good for the committee and would provide representation for Palm Beach County. The President of the homeowners association should be contacted in this regard. 7) The President of the Turtle Creek Homeowners Association should be contacted for a Turtle Creek representative on the Task Force. 8) Janet Gettig should be asked to nominate a citizen who i non-Turtle Creek resident. s a 9) The Task Force should meet for six months and meet every other week.
