1 . The Director of Public Works & Recreation was requested
to develop written stormwater protocols for general
operations for pre and post emergency.
2 . Water System Manager was asked the status of contract for
the Garage Project .
3 . Finance Director requested to provide up-date relative to
COPS FAST reimbursement.
4 . All Department Heads reminded to purchase office supplies
at Office Products .
5 . Chief of Police requested to write a letter to Palm Beach
County, validating need for traffic signal at
intersection of Village Boulevard and U. S . One.
6 . A general review of work efforts needed at 370 Maple
Avenue property was undertaken with Director of Public
Works .
7 . The Director of Finance was reminded of need to provide
full-cost accounting for solid waste services per State
Law.
8 . Village Clerk requested that all Departments redouble
efforts at recycling office paper.
9 . Village Clerk informed all Department Heads of Election
Day parking restrictions .
10 . Village Clerk requested all Department Heads to provide
her with timely newsletter articles .
11 . Water System Manager advised that the reverse osmosis
discharge permit deadline was 03/12/96 .
12 . Chief of Police provided up-dated traffic survey of
Country Club Drive .
13 . Chief of Police advised that part-time dispatcher had
quit job and new applicants were forthcoming.
14 . Chief of Police advised that three new Reserve Officers
would be brought on board.
15 . Chief of Police reviewed Tequesta impounding procedures
for direction.
16 . Chief of Police advised that ERIP should meet FRS
deadline of 06/30/96 .
17 . Director of Public Works advised that Village Hall
Ordinance No . 377 construction activity would commence
immediately after the Municipal Election.
18 . Director of Public Works advised that all of U. S . One
from Beach Road to County Line Road must be maintained by
the Village of Tequesta per DOT Agreement .
19 . Finance Director advised that ISS cannot do stormwater
utility work.
20 . Finance Director advised that the Comprehensive Annual
Financial Report would be presented for Village Council
acceptance at the April Village Council Meeting.
• Met with Director of Public Works and Gee & Jenson consultant
relative to FEMA projects and Five-Year Capital Improvement
Program on March 6 at 10 : 00 A.M.
• Met with Councilmember Hansen on March 6 at 2 : 30 P .M.
• On March 7 at 10 : 00 A.M. met with all applicable affected
Department Heads and the Finance Director to review details of
CWA Contract to enable departmental understanding.
• On March 15 at 11 : 00 A.M. participated in conference call with
• other applicable local governments relative to mediator
selection.
• Attended the Tequesta Firefighter Pension Board Meeting on
March 18 at 9 : 00 A.M.
• Attended the Firefighter and Police Pension School in
Tallahassee on March 19 and March 20 .
• Attended the Dover Ditch Public Information Meeting on March 20
at 7 : 00 P .M.
• Represented the Village at the Tequesta Plaza/Fehlhaber Trail
on March 21 at 9 : 00 A.M.
• Attended the Village Council Meeting on March 21 at 7 : 00 P .M.
• Met with Mayor Mackail and officials of the Beach Road
Association on March 22 at 9 : 00 A.M. to discuss issues of
concern.
• Attended the Finance and Administration Committee Meeting on
March 25 at 9 : 00 A.M.
• Participated in a mediator selection conference call with other
local government officials on March 25 at 1 : 30 P.M.
• Gave a speech at the Jupiter-Tequesta Board of Realtors
concerning development activities in Tequesta on March 27 at
8 : 30 A.M.
• Participated in a mediator selection conference call from 1 : 30
P .M. to 4 : 00 P .M. in conjunction with other local governments
on March 27 .
• Met with Tom Little on March 29 at 10 : 00 A.M.
• Met with Councilmember Hansen on March 29 at 3 : 00 P.M.
• A Staff Meeting was conducted on April 2 at 10 : 00 A.M. , wherein
the following items were discussed.
1 . The Director of Public Works was reminded to provide for
written stormwater maintenance protocols .
2 . The Director of Finance was requested to provide a status
report relative to stormwater utility data format
problems encountered.
3 . The Director of Public Works was requested to advise Gee
& Jenson to proceed with scheduling the stormwater
utility advisory (Village Council) meetings .
4 . The Director of Public Works requested to proceed with
repair of bumps on Seabrook at Dover Ditch.
5 . Director of Public Works requested to video a portion of
South Seabrook Drive to determine if leaking pipes are a
problem.
6 . Inquiries to all Departments were made relative to
surplus or extra personal computer availability relative
to Councilmember Meder request.
7 . All. Departments were requested to review need for permits
associated with Tequesta Country Club Golf Course
Renovation Project .
8 . All Departments advised of new policy wherein any
employee uses of comp-time shall be reported on absentee
slips to go to the Finance Payroll Clerk.
9 . Director of Public Works advised to proceed with sketches
relative to revamping Concourse Drive alignment with
Country Club Drive.
10 . Village Clerk requested to notify the CWA of day, time
and place to commence bargaining.
11 . All Department Heads were advised of the Village
Labor-Management Committee appointments .
12 . All Departments advised of Tequesta ' s Safety Committee
appointments .
13 . Inquiry of Building Official made relative to requirement
for posting of permits on all properties under
construction.
14 . Building Official requested to ascertain from DiVosta
officials willingness or desire to join Northern Palm
Beach Improvement District Unit of Development .
15 . Building Official reminded to turn in sick slip for
absence on 3/28/96 .
16 . Fire Chief advised of problems tracking long distance
calls made within new Bell South extended call area.
17 . A discussion with all Departments occurred relative to
need for improved internal two-way communications .
18 . Fire Chief reported mutual aid response to high-rise fire
in North Palm Beach on eighth floor.
19 . Director of Public Works reviewed dollar figures relative
to FDOT grant funds for U. S . One medians .
20 . Director of Public Works reminded Village Manager of 2 : 30
meeting to review plans for Seabrook Road.

• Met with Landscape Architect Connie Fisher to review concept
