The Director of Public Works & Recreation 'was requested • to put bicycle racks at Tequesta Park. • 2 . All Department Heads reminded to use duplicate phone message pads pursuant to State Public Records Laws. • 3 . The Director of Public Works was requested to provide a status report relative to the Village Hall Sign Project. , 4. The Chief of Police was requested to provide'program outline of utilization of JASP and First Offenders . Community Service for code enforcement problems for those • persons having physical and financial afflictions . 5 . The Director of Public Works was requested to provide a status report for the Stormwater Utility and subsequently requested to provide a pert chart for the implementation of the same. 6 . The Director of Public Works was requested to seek grant - . . coordinator. quotations for budgetary purposes. 7 . The Director of Finance distributed the computer disk • upon which-to prepare departmental budget requests. 8 . The Director of Public Works provided a FEMA up-date wherein it was reported that 26 out of 28 requests were approved for. Tequesta. 9 . The Director bf Public Works inquired as to budget schedule revisions. 10. The Fire Chief sought NAMAC-HAZMAT direction from the Village Manager. . • • Rr'je rd rape. • .A Meeting with the CWA was held on February 6 at 4 : 00 P.M. regarding proposed retirement plan. , • Met with citizen Wade Griest at 11 :00 A.M. on February 8 . • Attended the Village Council Meeting on February 8 at 7 : 00 P.M. • Attended a Joint Local Government Traffic Engineering Meeting of technical personnel relative to regional roadway network at 10: 00 A.M. on February 9 in Tequesta Conference Room. • Attended the Jupiter Water Issue Mediation at Village Attorney' s Office on February 14 at 10 : 00 A.M. • Met with Actuarial regarding Early Retirement Incentive Program at 9 :00 A.M. on February 15. • Met with the CWA on February 15 at 4 : 00 P.M. regarding retirement proposal. • A Staff Meeting was conducted on February 2.0 at 10 : 00 A.M. , wherein the following items were discussed. 1 . The Water System Manager was advised that the No-Trepass signs at the Water Plant were faded and needed replacement. 2 . Water System Manager asked if collection of connection charges on Jupiter Island were done pursuant to Ordinance requiring extra charges for the same. _ 3 . Inquiries were made of all Departments as to the, keeping of compensatory time sheets. 4 . The Director of Public Works was reminded of the need to produce a pert chart for stormwater utility implementation. 5. The Director of Finance was requested to provide a COPS Fast reimbursement up-date wherein he advised that the- same had not been applied for, by himself. 6. All Departments were advised of the need to provide copies of Departmental procedures pursuant to CWA Contract. ' 7 . Water System Manager requested to have Village engineers provide reverse osmosis cash flow spreadsheet. 8 . Chief of Police asked whereabouts of disciplinary action paperwork on Police Officers. . ' 9 . Chief of Police advised• that Crime Watch sign on Country Club Drive was faded. 10 . Village Manager reviewed sick leave, vacation leave and personal business leave requirements pursuant to Village Handbook with all Departments for compliance. 11 . Building Official requested to produce a copy of site plan for Carriage House for Village Manager review. 12 . The Fire Chief inquired of the Finance Director as to the specific date for implementation for requested direct _ deposit for employee paychecks . 13 . Fire Chief requested to up education pay-back to two years for Educational Reimbursement Program. 14 . Director of Public Works indicated a desire to have on the March 7 Agenda the U. S. One Median Project and the Tequesta Drive dip repair. 15. Director of Public Works reviewed the Tequesta Country Club Pond Drainage Project. 16 . Director of Public Works indicated he had received a request for a four-way stop sign at the North Gate of the Country Club. 17 . Chief of Police advised that new air-conditioning had been installed. 18 . Chief of Police advised that Weir Case had received $550 . payment and sought direction for proper deposit. 19 . Chief of Police sought direction relative to Seabrook turn lane set up of traffic counts and advised to have traffic engineer do interpretation of data. 20. Water System Manager advised of request to provide cellular telephone tower on Water Plant property wherein Village Manager declined same. 21 . Water System Manager requested direction relative to necessary utility relocations associated with Constitution Park Project and advised that it was a legitimate utility expense. 22 . Water System Manager requested direction' relative to vacation time "use it or lose it" policy and advised that the same remained in effect. • • 23 . Building Official advised that Tequesta had filed for intervenor status in Jupiter Comp Plan Amendment Hearing. 24 . Building Official advised that he may have small scale Comp Plan Amendments on the' March 7 Village Council Meeting Agenda. 25.t'Building Official advised that he had reviewed income and expenditure spreadsheet for Department of Community Development and had found the same to be favorable and requested Village Manager and Finance Director 'meeting prior to Budget Review. • Met with DiVosta Corporation officials at 1 : 30 P.M. on February 20 . ■ Attended City Manager/Finance Director Luncheon in Palm Beach Gardens at 12 :00 P.M. on February 21 . • Attended Pre-Mediation Meeting with Mayor Mackail at 9 :00 A.M. on February 22 regarding regional roadway issues . • Attended Tequesta Country Club General Membership..
