Gentile, George G. Gentile & Associates, Inc. , for the above referenced Project. Mr. Gentile is recommending the Village accept the low bid from Rood Landscape Co. , Inc. in the amount of $11, 165 .50 for landscape and irrigation improvements, having an FY 1996 Capital Improvement Fund allocation of $23, 000. Additionally, Mr. Gentile is recommending the low bid from Four Jay' s Construction in the amount of $18, 700 for general paving and concrete improvements, having an FY 1996 Capital Improvement Fund allocation of $25, 000 . This site plan has previously been approved by both the Village Council and the Community Appearance Board. Please place this item on the February 8, 1996, Village Council Meeting Agenda for Councilmembers ' consideration. Mr. Gentile will be in attendance to answer questions concerning this Project. We obtained two bids for the site work(hardscape) and three bids for the landscape and irrigation. As indicated in the bid comparisons below, Rood Landscape is the low bid for both the landscape and irrigation installation and Four Jays Construction is the low bid for the site work. Rood's total bid is 511,185.50 and Four Jays' bid is $18,700.00. As discussed, the irrigation bid assumes an irrigation clock and sleeves exist and that a potable water source is available. Rood has also stated that NO Florida sales tax will be added to the amounts as indicated.
