HomeMy WebLinkAboutDocumentation_Regular_Tab 10G_11/9/1995 rs RESOLUTION NO. 6 — 95/96 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING A REVISED PROPOSAL FOR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH GEE & JENSON FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CONSTITUTION PARK, INCLUDING THE JTJC BUILDING, AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE SAME ON BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Revised Proposal for Gee & Jenson Professional Engineering Services for the development of Constitution Park, including the JTJC Building,attached I hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated by reference as a part of this Resolution, is hereby approved and the Village Manager of the Village of Tequesta is authorized to execute the same on behalf of the Village of Tequesta. i THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION WAS OFFERED by Councilmember , who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilmember , and upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows : FOR ADOPTION AGAINST ADOPTION • The Mayor thereupon declared the Resolution duly passed and adopted this 9th day of November, A.D. , 1995 . Box 3273 Tequesta, Fl 33469 Re: Constitution Park Additional Services to Contract Dated September 15, 1993 Dear Mr. Bradford: We are pleased to submit the following revised proposal for professional services in connection with the development of Constitution Park including the JTJC building, north of Dover Road and west of Seabrook Road in the Village of Tequesta. Based on our conversations with JoAnn Manganiello and due to the litigation pending against this project, it has become necessary for us to make some revisions to the plan. The following is an itemized list of additional services required in order for us to rebid this project. 1. Revise construction plans A. Revise parking lot striping plan. • B. Revise parking lot grading plan. C. Revise/eliminate retention ponds. D. Eliminate storm sewer and inlets. E. Revise plans to include JTJC building and associated area. 2. Revise Irrigation Plans to eliminate the irrigation of natural vegetated areas'and include the JTJC building irrigation. 3. Revise cost estimate and divide into three separate categories for bidding as follows: A. Underground/paving/site work/gazebo B. Recreation equipment including basketball, benches, stations. C. Landscaping 4. Prepare bids and construction specifications. 5. Evaluate bids and award contract. Contract administration as general contractor/construction observation 7. Reimbursables For items 1 through 7 of the scope of services, the Engineer shall be paid a lump sum fee of $27,500. This letter is intended to serve as a supplemental agreement to the original contract dated September 16, 1993 and all terms and conditions of the contract unless specifically modified herein, shall remain the same.
