The Utilities Department monthly report is found below:
Stormwater
• Hurricane Season has Begun
o The utilities team has checked and cleared any clogged catch basins
o Participated in Fire Rescue Department's Hurricane Korah exercise for preparedness
• FDEP Vulnerability Assessment Grant/ Proiect
o Completed tasks:
• Acquire background data (original and additional funding) and incorporate into GIS
system
• Exposure analysis
• Sensitivity analysis
• Public meeting#1 (including web map)
• Sensitivity analysis update (with additional information]
o Initiated tasks
• Identify focus areas
• Developing initial adaptation plan
• Draft portions of the final vulnerability analysis report
0 2nd public meeting—ready to schedule
o Completion target October 2024 or before
• Dover Ditch—Shared Proiect with Town of Jupiter
o Permitting process ongoing
Water
• Water Treatment Plant Projects- projects are in ongoing stages for the water treatment plant
o Radio/SCADA modifications— Revere is the prime contractor to upgrade the existing 900 MHz
system to a 200 MHz system—project underway, equipment ordered and almost all received to
begin project on WTP site

o Membrane replacement design for train#2—Dover Engineering— expect to bid in June
o Water Treatment Improvements
• Consultant working on 100% plans (specs are complete)
• 100% plans and specs to be submitted to FDEP for August Request for Inclusion

• Project has been modified slightly, so the "facilities plan" provided to FDEP for the
state revolving fund (SRF) loan has to be updated
• Once updated, it has to be approved at an FDEP Request for Inclusion meeting
• Then the additional items need to be brought to the request for Inclusion meeting
for approval
