RE: Parks & Recreation Advisory Board
Please add to agenda that the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board will no longer continue
began advisory to the Parks and Recreation Department. At the last meeting, the board
members decide to change their roles to a more informal setting. The Parks and Recreation
Department will create a volunteer program that will assist the department on various
special events throughout the year. Also, the Parks and Recreation Department will hold
two open houses a year. This will allow the public to provide input regarding recreation
programs & services, facility needs, park improvements & additions.
Please place on agenda for August 2003 Council Meeting.
Thank you
