Re: Utilities Department Monthly Report—for August Council Meeting
The Utilities Department monthly report is found below:
Stormwater
• FDEP Vulnerability Assessment Grant/ Proiect-$145,000 grant, 100%funding from FDEP
o FDEP requested all deliverables which were uploaded to their share site
o Completion still targeted for October 2024 or before
o Results will include an adaptation plan with a list of prioritized stormwater projects
• Dover Ditch—Shared Proiect with Town of Jupiter
o Permitting process ongoing—Corps permitting getting close to issuance
o FDEP permit application has been submitted
Water
• Water Treatment Plant Projects- projects are in ongoing stages for the water treatment plant
o COMPLETED-Radio/SCADA modifications—Revere is the prime contractor to upgrade the
existing 900 MHz system to a 200 MHz system z.
• Master antenna— INSTALLEDI "
• New radio system for SCADA—COMPLETED

o Trench safety conducted in July for our water distribution team! Have coordinated with Fire
Rescue to alert them if we are going to work in this situation. They are trained to respond.
