Discussion on EAC Meeting Times and Dates
At the EAC Update to Village Council on July 29, 2024, Mayor Molly Young pointed out that there was
only one applicant to fill the vacant spot on the EAC. Mayor Young and other council members
speculated that having meetings in the middle of the day could be deterring residents from trying to
join the EAC or participate at meetings. Additionally, at the August 8 Regular Council meeting, the
Council had further discussion on the matter and raised the possibility of the EAC going to meetings
every other month or quarterly EAC.
The Village Council and Staff would like input from the EAC members on the following options:
-Keeping the meeting schedule as is
-Holding meetings in the evening
-Holding meetings every other month or quarterly
