WHEREAS, March has been designated as "Red Cross Month" by U.S. `. Presidential Proclamation to celebrate the achievement of the Red Cross iPt • -74 in the services it provides to communities nationwide. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE VIT•TaGV COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE -• OF TEQUESTA, assembled in regular session this 9th day of March, 2000, • •" that the month of March, 2000 is hereby proclaimed RED CROSS MONTH in _,� '' the Village of Tequesta and this Village recognizes the Red Cross as "`• i the lead voluntary agency to help families prepare for a disaster and `' s meet the immediate needs of individuals affected by disaster, and a --• '= leading voluntary agency training families in first aid, CPR and, 7(1114 Mit le HIV/AIDS prevention education; and providing other needed services, V.'
