HomeMy WebLinkAboutDocumentation_Regular_Tab 5A1_1/13/2000 ld, /09_ RESOLUTION NO. 99/00 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, VACATING AND ABANDONING A CERTAIN SEVEN HUNDRED AND THREE POINT THIRTY ONE FEET (703 .31' ) PORTION OF A THIRTY FOOT RIGHT-OF-WAY ON THE PLAT OF TEQUESTA, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 25, PAGE 8, PUBLIC RECORDS OF PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA. WHEREAS, the owners of lands abutting the property hereinafter described have petitioned the Village to abandon and vacate a certain seven hundred and three point thirty one feet (703 . 31' ) portion of the thirty foot (30' ) right-of-way, platted as Tequesta Drive and commonly known as Country Club' Drive, on the Plat of Tequesta, as recorded in Plat Book 25, Page 8, Public Records of Palm Beach County; Florida, described an as shown on Exhibit "A" . attached hereto: and WHEREAS, the said right-of-way has never been paved and has never been used by the public for regular roadway purposes; and WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta does hereby find and determine that the necessity for the seven hundred and three point thirty one feet (703 . 31' ) portion of the thirty foot (30' ) right-of-way located on the following described property does not serve any public purpose and is not necessary for public use; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: That the certain seven hundred and three point thirty one feet (703 .31' ) portion of the thirty foot (30' ) right-of- way platted as Tequesta Drive and commonly known as Country Club Drive, as shown on the Plat of Tequesta, more particularly described as follows, to wit : The southernmost seven hundred and three point thirty one feet (703 . 31' ) portion of the thirty foot (30' ) right-of-way, platted as Tequesta Drive, and commonly known as Country Club Drive, on the Plat of Tequesta, as recorded in Plat Book 25, Page 8 , Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida . be and the same, is hereby vacated and abandoned. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION WAS OFFERED by Councilmember , who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilmember , and upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows : FOR ADOPTION AGAINST ADOPTION The Mayor thereupon declared the Resolution duly passed and adopted this 13th day of January, A.D. , 2000 .
