In order for the YMCA of Tequesta to move forward in a positive direction with membership drives and program additions this issue needs to be solved a.s.a.p. The YMCA has received a number of inquiries from the community as to the YMCA's direction and status. Questions have been asked as to where and whom any future inquiries or questions should be directed. Members are hopeful that a solution will be reached soon. Current Facility Standings: Fitness center- We have experienced a little maintenance problem with some of the treadmills, but other than that all is well. The YMCA is still facing the same problem with our fitness center hours. We can not access the fitness center to its potential until this problem is solved. We have attempted a volunteer program but to no avail. In order to have a membership increase we must create a solution to this problem, being that it is the main source of service we offer. Storage Room - No news to report Main Moor- No news to report Advertising- We are advertising using the same usual methods, however, we lack the necessary funding to market our programs and services extensively. Extensive advertising is what is necessary to really attract future member prospects. As a result of this lack of funding the YMCA has not been able to maximize participation levels for our programs. We believe this is an issue that must be addressed. Marketing methods: Pamphlet/Brochure, Y Newsletter, Tequesta Newsletter. Mar-03-00 1O :OOA YMCA of Tequesta P _ O2 Fundraising: There have been no fundraising activities organized due to a lack of funding in which to do it with.
