HomeMy WebLinkAboutMinutes_Planning and Zoning_10/17/2024 b MINUTES PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD MEETING VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FL OCTOBER 17, 2024 5:30 PM COUNCIL CHAMBERS CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL The meeting was called to order by Board Chair, Leslee Dasher at 5:30 p.m. A roll call was taken by Community Development Planner, Meg Wyble. Present were: Member Jeanne McEldowney, Alt. 1 Member Marie Sapirie, Member Sherry Ambrose, Vice- Chair Theresa Maggio, and Chair Leslee Dasher, Marco Valdez. Late were: Jared Gaylord. 5:39 p.m. Absent were: Member Elizabeth Schauer. APPROVAL OF AGENDA MOTION: Member McEldowney made a motion to approve minutes; Vice-Chair Maggio seconded the motion. Carried unanimously 5-0 (absent: Member Schauer). APPROVAL OF MINUTES 2. MOTION: Member McEldowney made a motion to approve agenda; Vice-Chair Maggio seconded the motion. Carried unanimously 5-0 (absent: Member Schauer). AGENDA ITEMS 3. SPM-4-24 Application from Tamwest Realty, INC for a Minor Site Plan Modification for new paint colors on the existing County Line Plaza in the C-2 Zoning District. Planner Meg Wyble presented the applicant's recent color proposal, which included a new roof color and the relocation of the originally approved colors from SPM 2-24. The Board reviewed the submission and upheld the previous condition: a site plan modification must be submitted six (6) months after the completion of painting to update Page 1 of 2 the Master Sign Program for the plaza. MOTION: Member McEldowney made a motion to approve SPM 4 -24; with the condition that within six (6) months of painting completion, property owner must apply for site plan modification to create an updated Master Sign Program for plaza. Vice-Chair Maggio seconded the motion. Carried 4-1 (opposed: Alt. 1 Member Sapirie) (absent: Member Schauer). STAFF COMMENTS No staff comment. PUBLIC COMMENTS No public comment. BOARD COMMENTS No board comment. ADJOURNMENT MOTION: Vice-Chair Maggio made a motion to adjourn; Member McEldowney seconded the motion. Carried unanimously 5-0 (absent: Member Schauer).
