Tequesta Police Department's Post X
Tequesta Police Department
March 14 at 10:29AM
We are deeply saddened by the tragic news from our neighbors in Jupiter, where two juveniles were
struck while riding their e-bikes, resulting in the heartbreaking loss of one young life. Our hearts go
out to their families, friends, and the entire community during this difficult time.
This tragedy is a sobering reminder of the importance of safety and vigilance on our roadways. We
urge all cyclists and e-bike riders to take extra precautions and encourage drivers to remain attentive
at all times.
As a community, we are committed to promoting safety and awareness to help prevent such
devastating accidents in the future. Our thoughts remain with everyone affected by this unimaginable
loss.

On Friday,October4th, the Tequesta Police Department hosted our annual National Night Out,
strengthening the bond between law enforcement and the community. We provided free bike
helmets, child fingerprinting services, and displayed police vehicles alongside neighboring
agencies. K-9 Officer Scout made his debut and our officers even shot hoops with the kids!
A special thank you goes out to everyone who helped make this day such a success! A big shout-
out to our Parks Department, led by Director Greg Corbin, who worked tirelessly to set up the
Trucks &Tunes event.Their dedication and partnership allowed us to share this fantastic day with
the community. We also want to extend our gratitude to @evoitalian and @ gallerygrilletequesta
for their generosity in donating two gift certificates to our lucky winner. A heartfelt thank you to
Pastor Kieron Sharpe and Tequesta Family Church, Northcom, Paul &Carol Bereford from Hannah's
Home,Tequesta Fire Rescue, the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, and all our neighboring agencies for
taking valuable time out of your day to support the Tequesta Police Department.Your time and
