➢ March, meetings continued with each member of Tequesta Fire Rescue
➢ Hurricane Season PSA's have started on social media
➢ 3/4 Strategic Planning
➢ 3/7 Retiree Breakfast
➢ 3/7 CERT Meeting with Mr. Gass
➢ 3/11 Council Agenda Training
➢ 3/12 Meeting w/ Building Department (McLoughlin, Cameron, Newburn)
➢ 3/14 BS&A Meeting/Training in EOC
➢ 3/19 PBCFMA Meeting (Wichert)
➢ 3/20 5 Bugle and PBCFCA Meetings (McLoughlin)
➢ 3/25 Meeting w/Water Department regarding non-billable water usage from TFR
(McLoughlin, Tinoco, M. Craig)
• Operations, Training and Special Events
➢ Self-Rescue/Entanglement Train the Trainer completed for all Company Officers
➢ Self-Rescue/Entanglement training has begun with all three shifts, pictures have
been on social media (Pictures on Page 3)
➢ Swim testing for Water Rescue Team at North County Aquatic Complex
➢ 3/16 Multi-Agency training at PBGFR Training Facility with TFR, PBGFR, NPBFR
and PBCFR
➢ 4/8-9 TFR will train with TPD on fire extinguisher usage
• Upcoming Operations, Training and Special Events
➢ Easter Open House on 12 April (Flyer on Page 4)
➢ June 2-6 TFR will host Dive Rescue International for a Swift Water Rescue
Combo Course (Flyer on Page 5)

Emergency Management Operations
➢ Reviewing operations and procedures
➢ Meeting with individual Department Heads regarding past roles and moving
forward will begin in April
Other Information
➢ Miami-Dade Captain Bill Gustin Memorial Service 4/1 at the Kaseya Center in
Downtown Miami (McLoughlin and several TFR Members will attend)
➢ Chief McLoughlin completed Fire Officer III
o Also completing State of Florida Fire & Life Safety Educator
➢ Capital Improvement Budget Completed & Submitted
➢ Personnel & Operating Budget process being completed for TFR
➢ Life scan for all TFR Members will begin in April
o The Health & Safety Working Committee for PBCFCA is investigating the
cost of full-body scan as opposed to Life scan (covers neck to mid-thigh)
