The Special Magistrate appointed by the Village Council to hear code compliance cases
for the Village of Tequesta, in accordance with Chapter 162, Florida Statutes, has heard
testimony at the Code Compliance Special Magistrate Hearing held on the 111 day of June 2025,
and based on the evidence and testimony presented, enters this Order Assessing Fine. The
following Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law, and Order are hereby entered:
FINDINGS OF FACT
1. The Respondents are the owners of the above-described property.
2. The Respondents were present at the hearing; there was a finding
of proper notice.
3. Building Official Wayne Cameron provided testimony and evidence of the
violation, as contained in the Village's evidentiary case file which was accepted
into evidence without objection.
4. By the "Order Finding Violation" dated March 121h, 2024, the Special Magistrate
ordered the Respondents to comply with Chapter 30, Section 30-33 of the Code of

Ordinances of the Village of Tequesta by April 11", 2025, if not complied, a daily
fine of fifty ($50.00) per day shall be accessed against the property for each day
thereafter the violation continues to exist.
5. Based upon the evidence, pictures, and testimony presented at the hearing on June
111, 2025, the property remained out of compliance as of the date ordered.
CONCLUSIONS OF LAW
The property remains in violation of Chapter 30, Section 30-33 of the Code of
Ordinances of the Village of Tequesta.
ORDER
It is the Order of the Special Magistrate that a Fine of fifty dollars ($50.00) per
day be assessed against the property for each day the property remains in violation of Chapter
30, Section 30-33 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Tequesta beginning April 121,
2025, and continuing until the property comes into compliance.
The respondent is further ordered to pay administrative costs in the amount of
seven-hundred and twenty dollars ($720.00) incurred by the Village for the March 12', 2025 &
June 91h, 2025, hearings.
A certified copy of this Order may be recorded in the Public Records of Palm
Beach County, Florida, and, once recorded, shall constitute a lien against the property upon
which the violation exists and upon any other real or personal property owned by the
Respondents, pursuant to Chapter 162, Florida Statutes.
Upon complying with any code compliance matter, it is always the responsibility of
the Respondents to contact the Code Compliance Division at (561) 768-0519 to request a
reinspection of the property.
