The project will provide secure network connectivity free of continuing cost for the Police Department, Building Department, and Village Administration, and will support the deployment of CCTV cameras within the Station 11 facility and throughout the park to provide safety, operational efficiency, and seamless communication. Proposed funding allocation is as noted below. Quote provided for cabling, however we received a verbal quote for the CCTV element and due to the complexity of the project, the written quote is not yet ready. Structured Cabling System Network Data UTP 4-pair cabling Provide labor & materials to install UTP 4-pair category 6 cabling inside Fire Station 11. The host end the data cables will originate from the new IDF rack. Cabling will originate from 24- port 1RU modular patch panel with the needed jacks, and a horizontal cable manager. The network outlets will be 2-category 6 cable each and terminate in single gang face plates white in color. Including 6-camera locations listed, 4-for the exterior, 1-for office, and 1-for center of the bay. Camera outlets will be 1-category 6 cable each and terminate with a jack in a surface mount biscuit box above the drop tile ceiling, or if in an EMT run in the J-box at the end of the conduit run next to camera location. The OSP category 6 cables will terminate with male cat6 plugs at the poles. (All EMT conduits in bay area and sleeves from bay into drop the ceiling area will be installed by the city or others and is to be existing before the start date. Any exterior walls will be drilled & sleeved by others). Total Cat6 UTP Cables: 18. Total Cat6 UTP OSP Cables at Park: 8. IDF IT Comm rooms: Provide labor & materials to install a 2-post floor mount data equipment rack. The rack will be grounded to the existing grounding bus bar with #6 green wire in that IT Comm room. The rack will be installed to 4'x4'3/4"fire rated plywood and paint backboard. Including cable runway ladder rack from the rack to the backboard, (2) vertical cable managers and the needed fiber rack mount enclosure with LC adapter panel. Total racks: 1. Underground Conduit: Provide labor & materials to install a 2-inch underground conduit system including handhole pull boxes with Tier-15 rated covers and rock in the bottom. The conduit system will originate from the existing pull box at the sidewalk in front of the Rec building and connect to pull boxes as needed to link to Fire Station 11. Any sections of grass removed will be replaced with sod and any bushes removed will be put back (all watering & upkeep is by others). Page 2 of 3 r JADE COMMUNICATION19 INC. 800-783-8813 gasket cover junction box as low as possible. Through the back of the junction box the wall will be drilled into the IDF, sleeved & caulked. MDF to Fire Station 11 IDF/ IT Comm Room Backbone: Provide labor & materials to install to the IDF a 12-strand Single-mode OS2, all-dielectric OSP fiber optic cable. The fiber cables will have ID tags on them. The strands will terminate with LC fusion type connectors in new rack mounted fiber enclosures labeled at each of the IT Comm rooms. All cabling originating from the MDF. Utilizing the existing & the new conduit system. All fiber strands will be certified. Total Fiber Cables: 1. The existing conduit between the MDF building and the Rec center will be used to install a new fiber optic cable for connecting to the new conduit system to Fire Station 11. It is understood that the conduit is free and clear of obstructions and damage with adequate room for the new cable. If any section of the existing conduit is not accessible by means of vacuum or rod for pull string that would be outside of this proposal's scope of work. This will be brought to the attention of the directing managing/ staff to approve if the section of conduit will be made accessible by the owner or a T&M by JCI. Category 6 & fiber optic cabling will be certified, & all cables labeled. Ceilings will be accessible/ open/ under construction. Daytime hours Monday-Friday. Pricing Based on the SDPBC Contract 24C-31V: We hereby propose to furnish labor and materials-complete in accordance with the above specifications, for the sum of $50,680.10. (Option if chosen Remembrance Park: To install a 6-strand Single mode OS2, all-dielectric OSP fiber optic cable. Including a new 2- inch underground conduit system with the needed handhole pull boxes with Tier-15 covers. The conduit will originate from the new pull box in front of Fire Station 11 and link to about halfway into the Park at 483 Seabrook Rd. The cable itself will originate from Fire Station 11 and link to the Park. It will be fusion spliced (4-6) strands to the cable that originates from the MDF making the fiber optic strands themselves a direct pathway from the MDF to the Park. Including (2) runs of 1" underground conduit to existing pole locations at no more than 130Ft each. See attached spec page for the NEMA enclosed cabinet that will be installed on stainless steel uni-strut, including ground rod & wire. Mounting the owner's rack mounted switches etc. can be priced upon request if not already stated above. GC/Owner staff or others will handle all ceiling spaces tagged, red tagged, see facilities, etc., for dirty or asbestos areas will be by others with ICI supplying the cabling materials from floor level out of the tagged ceilings. Patch cords are not part of this proposal but can be added upon request. Unless stated above no other cabling or systems are part of this proposal such as inner-duct, Access Control, Security, EMS Radio, Nurse Call, Clocks, RFID, DAS any type, Audio/Visual, Patient cross-room cabling, Telemetry, Paging systems, ETC. All devices, electronics, integration, programming, licenses, cabling, is not part of this proposal & is by others. Cameras: All cameras, all electronics, licenses, integration, and programming is not part of this proposal and is not included & to be provided by others. Demo: Construction demo is not part of this proposal.
