A Budget Workshop Meeting of the Council of the Village of
Tequesta, Florida, was held at 7:00 A.M. , Tuesday, August 4, 1981 in
the Village Hall, 357 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida. Councilmembers
present were: Brown, Cook, Mapes and Stoddard. Also present were:
Robert Harp, Village Manager and Cyrese Colbert, Village Clerk.
Mayor Mapes asked that the records show that he feels the
letter from the Village employees to the Village Manager and Council-
members is repulsive.
The Village Manager reviewed with Council the proposed
1981/1982 Budgets. y
There were few changes made to the proposed Budget. There
was, however, the elimination of�Ji$600. to the North County Jaycees -
Fourth of July Fireworks under Aid to Private Organizations. The Council
feels that that orgainzation should come to the Council requesting the aid
and then it should be given to them only if the fireworks are held in the
Jupiter-Tequesta area.
Several other changes were made to the proposed budget.
It was the consensus of Council that a clerk be added to
- the Finance Department.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 P.M.
