Tequesta Country Club was established in 1957 in the
Village of Tequesta on land developed by Charles P.
Martyn II . The golf course, designed by Dick Wilson,
officially opened on December 12, 1957. Golf legends
Arnold Palmer played in the opening exhibition . The club
gained recognition, hosting events and welcoming figures
like Jack Nicklaus and Vice President Richard Nixon .
The DNA of Tequesta Country Club is rooted in its history,
humility and understated elegance. The proposed
redevelopment embraces the club's history and bespoke
character.
