above, but the Village's recent right-of-way proposal would do the opposite and should be
abandoned. It is also unclear what is meant by"roads" and "sidewalks" in this question. Those
ought to be maintained, but there is no reason to expand the roads or add more sidewalks. In
the case of Route 1, there need to be improvements to the sidewalks, in particular, a greater
separation between pedestrians and vehicles, as well as more trees. The ambiguity of the
terms in this survey will compromise the results because readers can interpret the same text
differently. For example, when you mention "mobility," for example, connecting the Village to
the East Coast Greenway trail would be great, but increasing traffic and density in the Village
would be bad.

of our elected representatives and village staff are critical to making the village a strong,

28 The right-of-way proposal is terrible and would be extremely harmful for the Village. That 1/18/2026 2:47 PM
should be stopped. Remembrance Park is a major asset to the Village and the Council and
staff that worked on it are to be congratulated. Finishing Phase 2 is highly important to making
this beautiful park accessible and would increase property values throughout the Village.

rude, unsavory, shady people threaten residents at events. They pay a small fee and come in
and ruin the experience for residents. Why is it allowed? Not fair for us taxpayers. At the
Christmas event at constitution park we were threatened by a non resident.

happening since kids seem to have no respect or suffer consequences these days. I'm just
worried about the consequences suffered by both driver AND biker when a serious accident
occurs. Sidewalks or park are the safest place for kids on scooters/bikes, but the park doesn't
allow it (though it still happens) and the sidewalks are broken or blocked by cars. I wish the
parks would allow small children on bikes and scooters so they have a safe place to ride.
Storm water or drainage has been a problem for us but response is excellent so I'm neutral.
think the pipes are just old. My husband would say homeowners need to take more pride in
their lawns/homes. I don't know how this is 'enforced' but it doesn't seem to have an impact.
understand you can only do so much though. We have been here 10+ years and absolutely
love it. These issues are minor in the grand scheme of life. Tequesta is our favorite little
bubble.

Lock park gates at dusk. Fix the stench and pooled water, by the lift station by the park. Get a
competent company for drainage, water etc...shouldn't take this long. Don't allow people to
stand in the middle of the road and allow children to run into the road near the park, maybe a
crosswalk is needed. Monitor pot smoking in the park. The community center should be able to
be used vs rented.

it only seems to be getting worse. Over the holiday break numerous kids were riding on Dover
Rd and refused to get out of the way for cars and people walking and this seems to be all too
common now. Watching them with no helmets and doing wheelies down the roads especially
Dover and Seabrook should be illegal. Additionally several ride at night in the dark in the
middle of the road with no lights. The Village and police need to push back before something
more dangerous happens.
