IC rnr�Laos� Florida's Water Conservation Month April 2026 WHEREAS,water is a fundamental and essential requirement for every living creature;and WHEREAS,The State of Florida, Florida Section of American Water Works Association (FSAWWA), Florida's Water Management Districts and The Village of Tequesta are working together to increase awareness about the importance of water conservation;and WHEREAS,The Village of Tequesta and the State of Florida has designated April,typically a dry month when water demands are most acute, Florida's Water Conservation Month,to educate residents about how they can help conserve Florida's precious water resources; and WHEREAS,The Village of Tequesta has consistently encouraged and supported water conservation,through various educational programs and special events;and WHEREAS, every business, industry,school and resident can make a difference by playing a role in conserving water and promoting a strong economy and community; and NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA does hereby recognize the Month of April as: Water Conservation Month. Water Conservation Month 2026 marks the 28th anniversary of April being established as Water Conservation Month in the State of Florida.The Village of Tequesta, Florida is calling upon each resident and business to help protect this precious resource by practicing water-saving measures and increasing awareness of the critical need for water conservation.
