Drop Savers Poster Contest Awards
The Florida Section of the American Water Works Association (FSAWWA) Drop Savers Program is
an educational outreach initiative designed to promote water conservation awareness among
elementary and high school students. Through this program, students are encouraged to creatively
express the importance of water conservation through poster contests that engage both schools and
the broader community.
This year marks the Village of Tequesta's first participation in the Drop Savers Program. The
presentation provided highlights the winning entries selected from this inaugural year. These
submissions reflect the creativity and environmental awareness of our local students and
demonstrate the program's success in fostering conservation values. Several local sponsors
generously contributed gift certificates and prizes for the student winners.
Overall, the Village is very encouraged by the level of engagement from both students and the
community. We look forward to continuing and expanding participation in the Drop Savers Program in
the coming year.
