During May each year, the Village Council makes its annual appointments/reappointments to the Village's Boards and Committees. In 2020, Council requested I advertise terms that expire to the Village residency as a whole to give others the opportunity to volunteer on these boards rather than simply renewing incumbent terms every year. The following committees have vacancies: • Environmental Advisory Committee - 4 vacancies, 2 reappointment requests, and 2 new applicants • Planning and Zoning Board - 2 vacancies - regular positions, 2 reappointment requests, and 4 new applicants • General Employee Pension Board - 1 vacancy, 4 applicants • Public Safety Pension Board - 1 ministerial acceptance (not ready for this meeting - as there was not a proper quorum at the last pension meeting to reappoint).
