Regular Council STAFF MEMO A-1 Meeting: Regular Council - May 14 2026 Staff Contact: Jeremy Allen, Village Manager Department: Manager Consider Adoption of the 2026-207 Strategic Plan At the April 13th Strategic Planning Workshop, the Village Council engaged in a collaborative and forward-looking process to establish priorities and direction for the Village of Tequesta over the next several fiscal years. The result of this workshop is the proposed 2026-2027 Strategic Plan, which serves as a comprehensive roadmap to guide policy decisions, resource allocation, and organizational focus. The Strategic Plan reflects the Council's commitment to maintaining and enhancing the Village's high quality of life through clearly defined goals and initiatives. The Plan is organized around key focus areas, including delivering and sustaining high-quality municipal infrastructure and services, protecting community appearance and identity, and operating a fiscally responsible government. These focus areas are supported by specific priority initiatives and action items designed to advance the Village's mission, vision, and values. Additionally, the Strategic Plan is intended to be a dynamic and living document that will be regularly reviewed and updated to ensure responsiveness to changing conditions and community needs. It provides a transparent framework for measuring progress and maintaining accountability as the Village works toward achieving its long-term objectives. Planning n the Village of Tequesta,staff's efforts are focused and intentional to meet the expectations of the Strategic Plan. The Plan's pillars are the foundation for the initiatives and action items to allow us to be transparent about our goals, focused on efforts,and accountable for our results. As reflected in the 2026-2027 plan,the Village has targeted meaningful projects that will continue to move the Village forward and benefit those who live,work,and visit the Village of Tequesta.
