Treatment Plant Filter Plant Upgrades Contract with Florida Design Contractors,
LLC
The Utilities Department recommends approval of Final Balancing Change Order Number 4 for
the Water Treatment Plant(WTP)Filter (Pressurized Vessel) Plant Upgrades Contract with Florida
Design Contractors, LLC (FDC).
Change Order No. 4 accounts for the reconciliation of final project costs and reflects the actual
cost of work performed. This change order results in a decrease of $30,210.88 to the contract
due to unused funds remaining in the Undefined Conditions Allowance.
The original contract amount of $869,974.00, after previous approved change orders and this
final adjustment, results in a final contract value of $682,466.16.
There is no change in contract time associated with this change order. The project completion
dates remain unchanged.
All project closeout documentation has been completed, and final releases of liens from all
subcontractors have been received, confirming that all financial obligations associated with the
project have been satisfied.

Original Amount of Contract: $ 869,974.00
Amount of Previous Change Orders: $(157,296.96)
Amount expended: $ 682,466.16
Change Order 4 Adjustment: $ (30,210.88)
