HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution_13-99/00_11/09/1999RESOLUTION NO. 13-99/00 • r~ A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS TO SHALLOWAY, FOY, RAYMAN AND NEWELL, INC. OF WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES RELATIVE TO UTILITY INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS, PER THE LOXAHATCHEE RIVER ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL DISTRICT'S CONTRACT NO. 92-115, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $30,000, WITH THE COSTS BEING SPLIT AT A 2:1 RATIO BETWEEN THE WATER ENTERPRISE FUND, ADMINISTRATIVE OPERATING EXPENSES ENGINEERING SERVICES ACCOUNT AND THE STORMWATER ENTERPRISE FUND, OPERATING EXPENSES ENGINEERING SERVICES ACCOUNT, HAVING A FY 1999/2000 WATER ENTERPRISE FUND BUDGET ALLOCATION OF $20,000 AND A FY 99/00 STORMWATER UTILITY FUND BUDGET ALLOCATION OF $10,000, AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPLICABLE CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Contract With Shalloway, Foy, Rayman and Newell, Inc., of West Palm Beach, Florida, for Engineering Services Relative to Utility Infrastructure Improvements, per the Loxahatchee River Environmental Control District's Contract No. 92-115 in the Amount not to Exceed $30,000, Attached Hereto as Exhibit "A" and Incorporated by Reference as Part of This Resolution is Hereby Approved, and the Village Manager of the Village of Tequesta is Authorized to Execute the Same on Behalf of the Village of Tequesta. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION WAS OFFERED by Councilmember Capretta who moved its adoption. LaMotte, P.E. Keith B. Jackson, P.E. • Dear Mr. Morrison: Shalloway, Foy, Rayman & Newell, Inc. (SFRN) is pleased to provide the Village of Tequesta with the following proposal. SCOPE OF WORK The Scope of Work shall include general engineering services relative to Improvements to the Village of Tequesta Utility Infrastructure. This work may include but not be limited to: survey, drawing preparation, design, specifications, opinions of cost, preparation of permits and submittals (permit fees are excluded), reports, contract negotiations, biddir-Ig, construction observation services, etc., as may be required by the Village. The work will be done on a time and expense basis per the attached Fee Schedule (Discounted Rate) with a not to exceed amount of $30,000.00 unless authorized by the Village of Tequesta. All office administration costs incurred by our office attributable to this project will be invoiced monthly to the client.
