HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance_370_08/11/1988r ~ l • L J ORDINANCE 370 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 355, AS AMENDED, BY AMENDING AND PROVIDING FOR A REVISED "OFFICIAL ZONING MAP" OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA; AMENDING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PARCELS OF PROPERTY FROM R-1, SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING TO R/OP, RECREATION/OPEN SPACE; AMENDING SECTION VII, SCHEDULE OF REGULATIONS, BY ADDING AN ADDITIONAL SPECIAL EXCEPTION USE TO THE C-2, COMMUNITY COMMERCIAL DISTRICT; AMENDING SECTION XII, SIGN REGULATIONS, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE Village Council of the Village of Tequesta, Palm Beach County, Florida, as follows: Section 1. The attached copy of the "Official Zoning Map" of the Village of Tequesta, Florida, be and the same is hereby adopted by reference as if fully set forth herein. Section 2. The official Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Tequesta is hereby amended to change the zoning classification of the privately and publicly owned real property identified in the property location map attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and described in the legal descriptions attached hereto as Exhibit "B", so as to reflect a change from R-1, Single-Family zoning classification to a new zoning classification of R/OP, Recreation/Open Space. Section 4. Section VII, Subsection (D), Paragraph (6)(d) of the official Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Tequesta, Ordinance No. 355, as amended, is hereby amended by adding an additional Special Exception use to the C-2, Community Commercial District, identified as No. 11, to read as follows: 11. Full service fuel station or gas station, as provided: a. All outdoor display of merchandise is prohibited. b. A raised curb of at least six (6) inches in height shall be erected along all street property lines, except for driveway openings. c. Curb breaks are limited to two (2) per street frontage. d. All fuel pumps, tanks, vents, pump islands and pump island canopies shall conform to all setback requirements for the district except that no such pump, tank, vent, pump island or pump island canopy shall be located closer than twenty-five (25) feet to any side property line. r ~:,. e. Off-street loading spaces which are provided for the delivery of materials, merchandise, fuel oils, or any similar accessory or product, shall be located in such a manner on the site that they are rom~~letely separate from customer parking areas and access drives and aisles thereto. r ,, ., r • f.
