ORDINANCE N0. 365
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND TO THE TERRITORIAL
LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Subsection 29 of Section 4.02 of
Article IV of the Charter of the Village of Tequesta and
Chapter 171, Florida Statutes, the Village Council may
annex any lands adjoining the territorial boundaries of
said municipality and lying within the "natural boundaries"
of said municipality upon the petition of the owner or
owners thereof; and
WHEREAS, Chevron U.S.A. Inc., the owner of certain
parcels of land situated in Palm Beach County, Florida, has
filed a petition or petitions with the Village Council
requesting that the lands described therein be annexed to
the territorial limits of the Village of Tequesta, Florida;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. That the parcel of land owned by Chevron
U.S.A. Inc. and more particularly described within attached
Exhibit A is hereby annexed and incorporated into the
Village of Tequesta, Florida with the same force and effect
as though same had originally been incorporated into the
territorial boundaries thereof. Said property shall be
annexed with a zoning classification of C-2, Community
Commercial District, with a land use pursuant to the
Village Comprehensive Plan of "Commercial."
Section 2. That the parcel of land owned by Chevron
U.S.A Inc. and more particularly described within attached
Exhibit B is hereby annexed and incorporated into the
Village of Tequesta, Florida with the same force and effect
as though same had originally been incorporated into the
territorial boundaries thereof. Said property shall be
annexed with a zoning classification of R-1, Single-Family
Dwelling District, with a land use pursuant to the Village
Comprehensive Plan of "Single-Family" (0-5.4 D.U./Acre).
Section 3. The parcels of land herein described shall
be subject to all of the ordinances, regulations and codes
of the Village of Tequesta.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall take effect upon
its approval and passage as provided by law.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE was offered by Councilmember
William E. Burckart who moved its adoption. The ordinance
was seconded by Councilmember Edward C. Howell and upon
being put to a vote, the vote was as follows:

The Mayor thereupon declared the Ordinance duly
passed and adopted this 26th day of May A.D.,
