AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA,
FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA BY PROVIDING
A LAND USE CLASSIFICATION FOR JIB CLUB, INC.
WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta,
Florida, on July 24, 1979, adopted Ordinance No. 271, an Ordinance
adopting pursuant to law, a Comprehensive Plan for the Village; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to adoption of the Comprehensive Plan
a certain amendment was proposed to the Land Use Element of that
plan; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council, pursuant to Chapter 163.3187
of the Florida Statutes has considered the proposed amendment to
the Land Use Plan after duly advertising same and holding Public
Hearings pursuant to the law; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council deems it to be in the best
interest of the general welfare of the citizens of the Village of

Tequesta to adopt said amendment to the Comprehensive Plan of the
Village of Tequesta;
NOW THEREFORE, BE TT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Comprehensive Plan of the Village of
Tequesta, Florida, is hereby amended by amending the Land Use Element
of same as follows:
Providing a Land Use Classification High Density
(13+ Dwelling Units/Acre) for the following
described parcels of land located at 50 Beach Road,
Tequesta, Florida:
Parcel No. 1: Lot B, JUPITER INLET BEACH COLONY,
according to the plat thereof on file in the Office
of the Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for Palm
Beach County, Florida, recorded in Plat Book 24,
Page 139 less that part of Lot B, said plat of
Jupiter Inlet Beach Colony lying southerly of the
westerly extension of the north right-of--way line
of Lighthouse Drive.
Parcel No. 2: A parcel of land in Section 31,
Township 40 South, Range 43 East, GOMEZ GRANT,
Palm Beach County, Florida, being more particularly
described as follows: BEGINNING at northeasterly
corner of Lot "B", JUPITER INLET BEACH COLONY,

according to the Plat thereof, recorded in
Plat Book 24, Page 139, Public Records of
Palm Beach County, Florida; thence westerly
along the northerly line of said Lot "B", to
its intersection with the southerly right-of-
way line of State Road Number 707, according
to the right-of-way map thereof recorded in
Road Plat Book 2, Pages 70, 71 and 72, said
point of intersection being in the arc of a
curve concave to the northwest and having a
radius of 337.94 feet; thence northeasterly
along said right-of-way line, and along the
arc of said curve, to a point in a line
parallel to and 13 feet northerly from
(measured at right angles to) the northerly
line of said Lot "B", which is also the
westerly extension of the northerly line of
Lot 1 of said JUPITER INLET BEACH COLONY:
thence easterly along said parallel line to
its intersection with the northerly extension
of the westerly right-of-way line of Colony
Road, as shown on said plat of JUPITER INLET
BEACH COLONY; thence southerly along said
northerly extension to the northeast corner
of said Lot "B", and the point of beginning.

Section 2. This amendment shall have the same legal status
of the Original Comprehensive Plan as set forth in Chapter 163.3194 of
the Florida Statutes.
Section 3. Permission to Codify this Ordinance is hereby
granted
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption.
The foregoing Ordinance was offered by Council Member
Stoddard who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded
by Council Member RVari and upon being put to a vote,
the vote was as follows:

The Mayor thereupon declared the Ordinance duly passed and adopted
this 22 day of July 1980.
