ORDINANCE N0. 2~1
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE
VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA BY AMENDING THE LAND USE
ELEMENT FOR PARCELS OF LAND OWNED BY ERNEST A.
DORNER AND FIRST MARINE BANK & TRUST COMPANY OF
RIVIERA BEACH, TRUSTEE (DORNER)
WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta, Florida,
on July 24, 1979, adopted Ordinance No. 271, an ordinance adopting pursuant
to law, a Comprehensive Plan for the Village; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to adoption of the Comprehensive Plan a
certain amendment was proposed to the land use element of that plan; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council, pursuant to Chapter 163.3187 of
the Florida Statutes has considered the proposed amendment to the Land
Use Plan after duly advertising same and holding public hearings pursuant
to the law; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council deems it to be in the best interest
of the general welfare of the citizens of the Village of Tequesta to adopt
said amendment to the Comprehensive Plan of the Village of Tequesta;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Comprehensive Plan of the Village of Tequesta,
Florida, is hereby amended by amending the land use element of same as
follows:
Changing the present land use of the following described parcels
of land from Medium Density (5.5 to 13 dwelling units/acre to
Low Density (0 - 5.4 dwelling units/acre):
Parcel 1 - That portion of the Northwest Quarter (NW 4) of
the Northwest Quarter (NW 4) of Section 30,
,Township 40 South, Range 43 East, being
triangular in form, lying adjacent to and
Southwesterly from the Westerly right-of-way
line of Florida East Coast Railway, said land
situate, lying and being in Palm Beach County,
Florida.

Parcel 2 - A parcel of land in Section 30, Township 40 South,
Range 43 East, Palm Beach County, Florida, being
that part of the Southwest Quarter (SW14) of Northwest
Quarter (NW 4) lying west of Florida East Coast
Railway right-of-way as in ORB 2105, P1654
(approximately 11.08 acres).

Riviera Beach, Trustee (Dorner)
Section 2. This amendment shall have the same legal status
of the original Comprehensive Plan as set forth in Chapter 163.3194 of
the Florida Statutes.
Section 3. Permission to codify this Ordinance is hereby granted.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE was offered by Councilmember
Thomas J. Little who moved its adoption. The motion was
seconded by Councilmember Leslie A. COOk and upon being
put to a vote, the vote was as follows:
