ORDINANCE NO. 19? ~
An Ordinance of the Village of Tequesta,
Florida, amending Ordinance No. 43 by
providing that no commercial structures
shall exceed the height regulations as
set forth herein without the approval of
the Village Council.
WHEREAS, the Zoning Ordinance of the Villa ge of Tequesta, being
Ordinance No. 43, may be amended from time to time by the Village Council
on its own motion after public hearing; and
WHEREAS, upon the motion of the Village Council, a public hearing
was held on the 20th day of June, 1972 to consider amending Ordinance
No. 43, the Official Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Tequesta, in
the following respects:
A. That to amend Sections 7B and 8B, BUILDING HEIGHT
REGULATIONS, to read that "No structure shall
exceed two (2) stories and thirty (30) feet in
height without permission of the Village Council
after a review and approval of the site and
building plans."
B. To determine the number of affirmative votes
of the Council necessary to allow a departure
from the height regulations in the ordinance.
C. To determine if an absolute limit in height should
be incorporated into the ordinance.

WHEREAS, as a result of the public hearing, the Village Council
deems it necessary to make certain changes in the above described ordi-
nance for the public welfare of the Village.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
Tequesta, being Ordinance No. 43, be amended in the following manner:
That Section 7B and 8B, "BUILDING HEIGHT REGULATIONS,"
shall be amended to read that no structure shall exceed two (2) stories

and thirty (30) feet in height without permission of the Village Council
after review and approval of the site and building plans.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict be, and the same are hereby, repealed.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage and approval, as provided by law.
