HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance_186_08/17/1971ORDINANCE NO. 186 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 43 AND THE ZONING MAP THEREUNDER TO ZONE PARCELS OF LAND ANNEXED BY ORDINANCE NO. 185. WHEREAS., the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Tequesta,, Florida, being Ordinance No. 43, may be amended from time to time on its own motion or on petition, after Public Hearing, by the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta, Florida; and WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 185, certain parcels of land, owned by Atlantic National Bank of West Palm Beach, as Ancillary Administrator, C.T.A. of the Estate of Paul 9. Wilson, deceased, by J."K. PaLulsen II,, Trust Officer, were duly annexed to the territorial limits of the Viilige of Tequesta; and WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held on August 17., 1971 to determine the zoning classification of such annexed parcels; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE C 00 CIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA: Section 1. That the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Tequesta, being Ordinance No. 43, and the zoning map.thereunder, be and the same, is hereby, amended with regard to the following described proper ty.,to wit: PARCEL ONE: A part of Lot 197 as shown and numbered on the Plat of Subdivision of GOMEZ GRANT and JUPITER ISLAND, recorded in Plat Book 1, page 80, Palm Beach County, Florida Public Records, beiag more particularly descrilbed as follows: Beginning atthe intersection of the south line of said Lot 197 (north line of Lot 198) with the waters edge of the east shore of the Intracoastal Waterway (JupiterSound), as shown on plat of JUPITER INLET BEACH COLONY, recorded in Plat Book 24, page 139., Palm Beach County Public Records; thence northerly along said waters edge to the southerly right-of-way line of State Road AIA (as existing prior to recording of said plat of JUPITER INLET BEACH COLONY and as indicated by a dotted line on said plat); thence easterly along said southerly right-of-way line to its intersection with the easterly easement line of the Intracoastal Waterway as described in Dead Book 493, page 417,, Palm Beach County Public Records; thence continue easterly along said southerly right-of-way line, a distance of 4451 to the beginning of a curve concave to the northwest having a radius of 283.271 and a central angle of 26*2412011, and being a point in the north line of Lot B, designated as P.C. an said plat of J UPI TER INLET BEACH COLONY; thence easterly along the arc of said curve a distance of 125.81 feet to the point of beginning of the parcel of land herein described; thence southeasterly a distance of 26.10 feet to a point in the tangent of said curve wrtended easterly, said point being 131.78 feet easterly from the beginning of said curve; thence easterly along said tangent extension, making an angle with the preceding course, measured from North to - East of 108*551, a distance of 485 feet, more or less, to the PETITION TO: The Honorable Village Council of the Village of Tequesta, Florida We, the undersigned, being the owners of the following -described parcels of land situate, lying and being in Palm Beach County, Florida; PARCEL ONE: A Pa---,-. af Lot 197 as shown and numbered on the Plat of Sub- division of GOIMEZ GRANT and JUPITER ISLAND, recorded in Plat Book 1, page 80, Palm Beach County; Florida Public Records, being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at th e intersection of the sou h line of said Lot 197 (north line of Lot 198) with the wateirs-edge . of the east shore of the Intracoastal Waterway (Jupiter Sound), as shown on.plat OIL JUPITER INLET BEACH COLONY , recorded in Plat Book 24, page 139, Palm Beach County Public Records; thence north- erly along said waters edge to the southerly right-of-way line oil State Road AIA (as existing Prior to recording of said plat of JUPITER INLET BEACH COLONY and as -indicated by a dotted line on said plat); thence easterly along said southerly right-of-way line to its intersection with the'easterly ease- ment line of the Intracoastal Waterway as described in Deed Book 493, page 417,.
