This small parcel is joined to the main parcel with unity of title and is where my 95' dock is. It is important to agree to the fence for both SAFTEY and security reasons. As it stands, any child could easily walk right from the road on to my property and fall in the water. I do not want the responsibility or liability of this dangerous situation. The condition of the parcels was in existence when I purchased the lot. 3. The fence request is due to a special condition not applicable to other properties. 4. Typically, waterfront locations and docks are located in the rear yard of a home. This is not typical, and the parcel is separated from the main lot. It is reasonable to use this parcel for its intended purpose as a canal front boat dock with safety and security. 6. Granting of this variance will be in harmony with the intent to protect the public.
