Couzzo, Jr., Village Manager Honorable Mayor and Village Council Members FROM: Lori McWilliams, Village Clerk DATE: September 1, 2009 SUBJECT: General Employee Pension Board Member Reappointment and Appointment I respectfully request the reappointment of Michael Rhodes to the General Employee Pension Board. Please note this is a ministerial appointment as Mr. Rhodes serves as the 5th Member of the Board and is appointed by the other members. On August 4, 2009, Mr. Magnum acknowledged he would not seek reappointment to the Board. A "Member Wanted" advertisement was published on two separate occasions seeking interested applicants. One resident, Mr. John Terzakis, submitted an application requesting appointment. I recommend Mr. Terzakis be appointed to the General Employee Pension Board for atwo-year term.
