Home My WebLink AboutResolution_44-04/05_03/10/2005U • RESOLUTION NO. 44-04/05 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF WORK AUTHORIZATIONS IN THE AMOUNT OF $184,000.00 TO ARCADIS, REESE, MACON & ASSOCIATES FOR BUDGETED PROJECTS AS SHOWN IN THE ATTACHED EXHIBIT "A" AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPLICABLE WORK AUTHORIZATIONS ON BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE. WHEREAS: These projects have been budgeted in the fiscal year 2005, WHEREAS: Authorization of these projects will not affect Fund Balance or increase the current budget, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Consideration to authorize Arcadis, Reese, Macon & Associates to perform budgeted projects in the amount of $184,000.00, as identified in the attached proposal hereto referred to as Exhibit "A" and incorporated by reference as a part of this Resolution, is hereby approved and the Village Manager of the Village of Tequesta is authorized to execute the same on behalf of the Village. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION WAS OFFERED by Councilmember Genco, who moved its adoption. (ARMA) to perform the work set forth.herein and as stipulated within the letter (attached) regarding miscellaneous projects, dated. January 20, -2005. SCOPE- The Engineer understands that this project authorization is to cover engineering services related to the design and construction a Water Distribution System within the Cove Pint Subdivision which consist of approximately 48 homes. ' The following specific tasks will be performed by the Engineer: 1. Prepare plans and specifications for the Water Distribution System as described above. 2: Prepare contract documents for bidding. 3. Submit plans and specifications to the Village for review. 4. Prepare an estimate of construction cost. 5. Prepare FDEP/Martin County permit documents and act as the Village's liaison during the permitting process. 6. Assist the Owner in soliciting bids. 7. Review the qualifications of bidders and make a recommendation of awazd. 8. Provide engineering services during construction and periodic site visits. Coordinate inspection activities with the Village's Utility site representative. 9. Certify the project upon completion to the permitting agencies.
