I'll confirm that with The Community Development Office. No alcohol consumption is permitted outside the business. A flashing sign is also not permitted per code. The Bayou (Village Square ownership/management) is scheduled to go to the upcoming code enforcement magistrate hearing on October 22"d. I copied this a-mail to the property management company for Village Square, and will discuss the violations with the management company this week. Please advise if violations continue via a-mail and by placing a CAD entry in my mail box. Christina, Just to follow up on our conversation this morning, when I was at Village Square earlier today, I noticed The Bayou Restaurant put two flags up in front of the business this is in violation of the same code section (78-745) indicated on the notice of hearing that was recently issued for October 22""', for the van with signage. The van with signage was parked in front of the plaza so, I went to The Bayou to speak with the owner about the flags and it appeared no one was inside. I left a voice mail on the number listed on the side of the van. Also, Nautical But Nice has a banner hanging in front of their business. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. The owners of Village Square were issued an October 22nd Notice of Hearing for a repeat violation. The Bayou has been parking it's van in the front parking lot of the plaza after the business is closed and there is no one in the business. In short the magistrate found it to be a violation at Village Square, IF A VEHICLE WITH SIGNAGE ATTACHED IS PARKED IN THE FRONT OF THE PLAZA AND THERE IS NO ONE INSIDE THE BUSINESS . If you work the night shift could you have your officers do an observation and if possible take a photograph of the violation if it continues to exist, and place the CAD entry and photo in my mail box. One photo a week per shift and one observation (preferably after Ol00hrs) per shift per night would be helpful for the code case. ORUFR It is the Order of the Special Magistrate that a fine be assessed for the violation that continued seven (7) days beyond the date set for compliance by the special magistrate in the amount of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) per day, for a total of $ I ,500.00. In addition, Respondent shall pay the administrative costs of $302.14. These fines and costs shall be paid immediately.
