concession.

2. Finance sends Routing Sheet to

RE: Tequesta Park Pavilion/Concession Re-roofing
Village Council Agenda Item for December 2009 Meeting; to award work to
William Murphy to perform the following work at Tequesta Park to
pavilon/concession:
• Remove roof sheathing and replace with 3/4 inch CDX plywood. Install
hurricane straps to code.
• Remove all existing shingles and install new dimensional shingles to match
bathroom in the park.
• Replace fascia board and drip edge
• Paint new fascia board
• Obtain required building permits
Specifications for Re-roofing Pavilion and Concession Stand at
Tequesta Park, Village of Tequesta
1) Remove roof sheathing on Pavilion and replace with % inch CDX plywood.
Install hurricane straps to code.
2) Remove all existing shingles on Concession Stand and Install new
dimensional shingles to match Bathroom Building roof.
3) Install same new dimensional shingles on Pavilion.
4) Replace fascia board and drip edge on both the Pavilion and Concession
Stand.
5) Paint new fascia board on both the Pavilion and Concession Stand.
6) A Building Permit will be required. Minimum fee $ 75.00.
Note:
Provide exact square foot area of roofs in estimate.
All work to meet the requirements of the Florida Building Code.
Contractor's License and Registration with the Village of Tequesta will be required.
A Construction fence will be required around work area.
All construction debris to be removed at the expense of the contractor.
Work area to be left in a clean and safe condition.
Thank you for your submittal.
Please submit bid to the Community Development Department by November
20, 2009.

• Remove shingles and sheathing on lower roof of Pavillion, Replace sheathing with 3/"
CDX.
• Remove shingles over the Concession Stand and replace both roof's with a dimensional
shingle to match the restroom building.
• Replace both fascia and drip edge and paint.
• Supply and install straps to the Pavillions trusses
• Obtain proper building permits.
• Supply and erect a construction barricade around work area
• Labor and material-------------------------------------------------------------------$ 32, 370.00
NOTE:
• The roof measures approximately 3600 sq. ft.
• All licenses and permits will be in hand prior to beginning work
• All trash to be removed from site

Hooks Construction Co. proposes to re-roof the above reference pavilion including ali labor,
material, tools, and equipment necessary to perform the work for the sum of $34,248.
The price is base on the attached "Notes of Clarification".

5. Install new fascia and dimensional shingles to both structures
6. Price includes $75 allowance for permits
7. Price is based on (1) 22" strap per truss
