A Special l~feeting of the Councilmen of the Village of T~ruesta
t:~•s held at 8:00 P.M., Thursday, tiugust 26, 1965, at the Village Hall.
Councflinen present were: i~Iessrs. Turnbull, Sotrden, Cornelius and Sylvesta".
Also present ~,as Robert I~a,rp, Village Cler~I:.
Vice-1~layor Turnbull stated the IvIeeting ha.d been called and the
Councilmen had received ~:~ritten notice of the meeting, to set the 1965
t~iilla,ge Rate, discuss the budget and any other iteaas for consideration.
The budget was carefully scrutinized again with several dele-
tions agreed upon. After discussion, Cornelius moved, seconded by
Bowden and passed, that the 1965 Td;: tillage be set at 3.25 mills. This
is an increase of .25 mills over the 1964 tilillage.
The Village Clerk presented the request of Thomas :I. Daly, Inc.
to move their Sales Office from the corner of Tequesta Drive and U.S.
No. 1, south to a creel of land they o~rn a]most directly across U.S.
No. 1 tro~m the Standard Oil Station.
Cornelius moved, second by Eog~den and passed, that Thomas H.
Daly, Inc. be granted rermission to move their Sales Office building to
their parcel of land across U.S. I:igh~:ay No. 1 from the Standard Oil
• Serviee Station ~,rith the ^rovision that the move must be made on or before
October 2S, 1965 (60 days and that the building must be placed on the
new loaatfan in accordance frith the Village Building Code, Zoning Ordi-
~ance, especially as relates to parking and all other codes and Ordf-
nanesa of the Village.
The proposed Garbage Franchise r~ith Ford Sanitation, Inc.

ation.
