MEMORANDUM Village of Tequesta Parks ~ Recreation HVAC Replacement at Recreation Center TO: Michael Couzzo, Village Manager FROM: Greg Corbitt, Director of Parks & Recreation CC: Lori McWilliams, Village Clerk Village Council Agenda Item for March 2010 Meeting; the approval of HVAC replacement at Recreation Center. Currently, there are only two of the five HVAC units working in the building. Furthermore, none of the five HVAC units are set-up for heating. Concerns have been raised that the building not having proper cooling during summer months, heating during the winter and the building having amold/old smell. Based on a recommendation from CH2MHILL, Alford Air Conditioning, Inc is selected as the successful low bidder. Work will include installing (S) new over/under roof top package units, and one wall hung package unit. New equipment will be installed on existing curbs and connected to existing duct penetrations through roof and wall. Soffet enclosure will be needed and duct runs to front offices and kitchen. All new units will have compressor time delays and digital thermostats.
