I was hoping you might be able to help me with something. A resident of the Village came up to me the other day and was asking how one would inquire about whether or not someone pulled a building permit on some renovations to an existing home. I told them I would ask you. The address is 120 Intracoastal Circle. The resident is putting on an expansion to the rear of the house. From what I know, he has dont several "projects" one of which is put a window or two on the zero lot line side of the house, which I believe is not the intent. He has also taken upon himself to dump a large amount of construction debris over his seawall. I actually saw that with my own eyes. Not good. Is there a way for you to let me know if he has pulled permits? if so, I will let the resident know he is good to go. If not, I would think code enforcement might want to know. This will ensure they were installed in accordance with all applicable Notices of Acceptance and the 2007 Florida Building Code. If you have any questions, please give me a call. The pool and pump work is complete no permit record on file and Mr. Kenrienbrew could not produce a permit old or new. Mrs. Kinnebrew was uncooperative, the gates to the back yard were locked and she would not allow me in the back yard. I was able to take pictures from the front yard showing the two windows, a pool and pool pump, and the gazebo/overhang. I'll come by your office today to go over the file with you.
