HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution_48-98/99_09/09/1999 i RESOLUTION NO. 48 -98/99 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AWARDING A CONSRUCTION CONTRACT TO BLAZER INDUSTRIES OF JUPITER,FLORIDA IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $ 18,000 FOR STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS ON TEQUESTA CIRCLE, HAVING AN FY 1999 BUDGET ALLOCATION OF $ 6,000 AND AN FY 2000 BUDGET ALLOCATION OF $ 42,000 AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT FOR SUCH WORK ON BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The construction contract proposal of Blazer Industries of Jupiter, Florida for Storm Drainage Improvements on Tequesta Circle in an Amount not to Exceed $ 18,000, Attached Hereto as Exhibit " A " and Incorporated by Reference as Part of this Resolution is Hereby Approved and the Village Manager • of the Village of Tequesta is Hereby Authorized to Execute the Contract for the Proposed Construction Work on Behalf of the Village. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION WAS OFFERED by Councilmember Schauer , who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Hansen , and upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: FOR ADOPTION AGAINST ADOPTION Joseph N. Capretta Basil E. Dalack Carl C. Hansen Ron T. Dear Matthew, Per our conversation regarding drainage on Tequesta Circle. This is our cost breakdown as it relates to approximately 250 L.F. of 18" HDPE and a 4 x 4 Exfiltration Trench. However, at:er reviewing quotes it appears to me that two inlets were inadvertently left out of our price conversations. These will have to be added. Breakdown is as follows: 24" HDPE w/ 4x4 Exfiltration trench (equipt 8 labor) 1 LS @ 6,60000 6,600.00 24" HDPE w/ 4x4 Exfittration trench (materials) 1 LS @ 7,375.00 7,375.00 (2 ) Inlets 1 LS 2,400.00 2,400.00 GRAND TOTAL. � 6'3.
