EXECUTIVE SUMMARY OF MAJOR ISSUES: (This is a snap shot descnption of the agenda item) The Fire and Finance departments have identified uncollectible accounts receivable that are recorded on the Fire Department's EMS software but not on the Village of Tequesta's General Ledger. LEDGER Please add the attached agenda item to the September 10, 2010 Regular Meeting of the Village Council. A reconciliation of the EMS transport fee accounts receivable idenrified accounts that were recorded in the software but not in the General Ledger of the Village of Tequesta in the amount of $27,673. The fire Deparnnent has established that these accounts are uncollecrible and would like to write them off in their software. There will be no write off of these accounts in the General Ledger as they were never recorded in the Village's books. 8/27/104:46 PM
