Village Code of Ordinances.
ORDER GRANTING EXTENSION OF TIME FOR SPECIAL EXCEPTION
THIS CAUSE came on to be heard upon the above request for extension of time, and the
Village of Tequesta Village Council, being otherwise duly advised,
THEREUPON, the Tequesta Village Council finds as follows:
1. The Village Council of the Village of Tequesta approved the application for a
Special Exception in Case No. SE -1 -09 on November 12, 2009.
2. According to Section 78 -367 of the Village of Tequesta Code of Ordinances, an
approved special exception must be commenced by the issuance of a building
permit, preliminary plat or site plan approval, or the initiation of significant action
to satisfy requirements for improvements contained in a development order or
other regulatory documents relating to the special exception within 12 months
from said special exception approval.
3. Additionally, according to Section 78 -367 of the Village of Tequesta Code of
Ordinances, an applicant may request the Village Council to grant a single six (6)
month extension for the commencement of an approved special exception.

4. The applicant has made a written request for a six (6) month extension of the
Order granting the Special Exception in this case so that it will have time to
obtain all necessary approvals and permits.
5. According to Section 78- 367(c) of the Village of Tequesta Code of Ordinances,
the Village Council has the right, power and authority to grant the extension being
requested by the applicant.
6. In the judgment of the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta, the public
convenience and welfare will best be served by Approving the request for an
extension.
IT IS THEREUPON CONSIDERED, ORDERED AND ADJUDGED by the Village
Council of the Village of Tequesta as follows:
The request for extension of time for Special Exception, SE 1 -09, Hannah's Home of
South Florida, Inc., with reference to the property described herein, located in the Village of
Tequesta, Palm Beach County, Florida, to allow the applicant:
A six (6) month extension of time for the Special Exception granted in Case No. 5E -1 -09;
said extension of time to commence on November 12, 2010,
IS HEREBY APPROVED in accordance with the Village Zoning ode Sec. 78 -367.
