HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance_86_08/11/1964 a ORDINANCE NO. 86 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA UPON THE PETITION OF OWNERS THEREOF, SAID LANDS BEING DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: A parcel of land in Section 25, Township 40 South, Range 42 East, in Palm Beach County, Florida, more particularly de- scribed as follows: The East 330 feet of Government Lot 4, and all of that portion of the Northeast Quarter (NE -k) of the Southeast Quarter (SE -k) of said Section 25, lying'West of the West right -of -way line of Seabrook Road., which said right -of -way was conveyed to County of Palm Beach by deed recorded in Official Record Book 524, page 211, Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida, excepting therefrom the follow- ing described parcels: (a) The West 220 feet of the East 905 feet of the North 117 feet of the South 132 feet of the Northeast Quarter (NE -k), of the Southeast Quarter (SE -k) of said Section 25; (b) The West 75 feet of the East 1080 feet of the North 117 feet of the South 132 feet of the Northeast Quarter (NE -k) of the Southeast Quarter (SE -k) of said Section 25; (c) The West 50 feet of the East 1280 feet of the North 117 feet of the South 132 feet of the Northeast Quarter (NE -k) of the Southeast Quarter (SE -k) of said Section 25; (d) The West 100 feet of the East 780 feet of the North 117 feet of the South 513 feet of the Northeast Quarter (NE -k) of the Southeast Quarter (SE -k) of said Section 25; (e) The South 260 feet of the North 390 feet of the West 635 feet of the Northeast Quarter (NE -k) of the Southeast Quarter (BE -k) of said Section 25; and (f) The East 25 feet of the West 555 feet of the North 117 feet of the Northeast Quarter (NE -k) of the Southeast Quarter (SE -k) of said Section 25; and (g) Less that parcel of land deeded to JUPITER - TEQUESTA JUNIOR CITIZENS, INC., by deed dated February 8, 1962, WHEREAS, sub- section (29) of Section 3 of ARTICLE V of the Charter of the Village of Tequesta grants the Village Council the power to annex any lands adjoining or within three miles of the territorial boundaries of said municipality upon the petition of the owner or owners thereof; and WHEREAS, EASTERN SALES, INC., the owner of a certain tract of land situated in Palm Beach County, Florida, has filed a petition with the Village Council requesting that said land be annexed to the territorial limits of the Village of Tequesta, which lands are de- scribed as follows, to -wit: A parcel of land in Section 25, Township 40 South, Range 42 East, in Palm Beach County, Florida, more particularly de- scribed as follows: The East 330 feet of Government Lot 4, and all of that portion of the Northeast Quarter (NE -k) of the Southeast Quarter (SE -J of said Section 25, lying West of the West right -of -way line of Seabrook Road, which said right -of -way was conveyed to County of Palm Beach by deed recorded in Official Record Book 524, page 211, Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida, excepting therefrom the following described parcels: (a) The West 220 feet of the East 905 feet of the North 117 feet of the South 132 feet of the Northeast Quarter (NE -k), of the Southeast Quarter (SE -k) of said Section 25; (b) The West 75 feet of the East 1080 feet of the North 117 feet of the South 132 feet of the Northeast Quarter (NE -k) of the Southeast Quarter (SE -k) of said Section 25; (c) The West 50 feet of the East 1280 feet of the North 117 feet of the South 132 feet of the Northeast Quarter (NE -k) of the Southeast Quarter (SE -k) of said Section 25; (d) The West 100 feet of the East 780 feet of the North 117 feet of the South 513 feet of the Northeast Quarter (NE -k) of the Southeast Quarter (SE -k) of said Section 25; (e) The South 260 feet of the North 390 feet of the West 635 feet of the Northeast Quarter (NE -k) of the Southeast Quarter (SE -i of said Section 25; and (f) The East 25 feet of the West 555 feet of the North 117 feet of the Northeast Quarter (NE -k) of the Southeast Quarter (SE -k) of said Section 25; and (g) Less that parcel of land deeded to JUPITER- TEQUESTA JUNIOR CITIZENS, INC., by deed dated February 8, 1962; -2- i NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: Section 1 . That parcel of land described hereinabove, and is hereby, annexed and incorporated into the Village of Tequesta, and the same shall be and become a part of the Village of Tequesta with the same force and effect as though the same had been originally incorporated into the territorial boundaries thereof. Section 2 . That said parcel of land shall be subject to all ordinances, regulations and codes of said Village. The West 220 feet of the East 905 feet of the North 117 feet of the South 132 feet of the Northeast Quarter (1&- 1 /14), of the Southeast Quarter (SE -1/4) of said Section 25; (b) The West 75 feet of the East 1080 feet of the North 117 feet of the South 132 feet of the Northeast Quarter (X& -1 /4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE -•1/4) of said Section 25; (c) The West 50 feet of the East 1280 feet of the idorth 117 feet of the South 132 feet of the Northeast Quarter (NE --1/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE-1/4) of said Section 25; (d) The West 100 feet of the East 780 feet of the North 117 feet of the South 513 feet of the Northeast Quarter (NE. -1/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE -1/4) of said Section 25; (e) The South 260 feet of the North 390 feet of the West 635 feet of the Northeast Quarter (NE -1/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE -1/4) of said Section 25; and (f) The East 25 feet of the West 555 feet of the North 117 feet of the Northeast Quarter (M-1/4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE -.1/4) of said Section 25; and (g) Less that parcel of land deeded to JUPITEE--TEQUESTA JUNIOR CITIZENS, INC., by deed dated February 8, 1962. hereby respectfully requests the Village Council to annex such lands by ordi- nance to the territorial limits of the Village of Tequesta, Florida, ;Xrsuant to the authority vested in said Village under its Charter.
