HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance_58_01/08/1963 ORDINANCE NO. 58 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA WHEREAS, sub - section (29) of Section 3 of ARTICLE V of the Charter of the Village of Tequesta grants the Village Council the power to annex any lands adjoining or within three miles of the territorial boundaries of said municipality upon the petition of the owner or owners thereof; and WHEREAS, T. W. FRANKLIN and KATHLEEN FRANKLIN, the owners of certain land situated in Palm Beach County, Florida, have filed a petition with the Village Council requesting that the land described therein be annexed to the territorial limits of the Village of Tequesta, copy of said Petition being attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully and completely set forth herein; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: Section 1 . That the parcel of land described in the petition hereinabove mentioned and hereto attached is hereby annexed and incorporated into the Village of Tequesta, and the same shall be and become a part of the Village of Tequesta, with the same force and effect as though the same had been originally incorporated into the territorial boundaries thereof. And, further, that said land shall be subject to all of the ordinances, regulations and codes of said Village. I PASSED AND ADOPTED ON 7— READING this day of January, 1963. FRANKLIN and KATHLEEN FRANKLIN, being the owners of the following described parcel of land situated in Palm Beach County, Florida, t© wit: A parcel of land lying in Government "at 3, Section 30, 'township 40 South, Range 43 East, Palm Beach �'ounty, i'lorida; more particularly described as follows: Being the south 540 feet of Government Lot 3 lying east of the right -of -way line of U. S. Highway # 1 to the Intercoaxtal Water- way, including all riparian rights. Said owners hereby petition the VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA to annex said property to the territorial limits of said Village and consent to the immediate adoption of all ordinances in connection therewith. This, request is subject to the VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA granting C -1 zoning for this property which will include a marina sales and service with boat storage, on the north 200 feet, and the building of multiple units on the south 340 feet, in the C -1 zoning usage.
