HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance_57_01/08/1963 ORDINANCE NO. 57 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA WHEREAS, by Ordinances numbered 51, 52 and 53, duly adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta on the 20th day of November, 1962, the Village did declare its intention under the provisions of Florida Laws 1961, Chapter 61 -2944, to annex certain parcels of land more fully described in said Ordinances; and WHEREAS, the Village has complied with the provisions and requirements of said Ordinances, the Charter of the Village of Tequesta, and the laws of Florida, and no objections have been raised to the aforesaid intentions by the owners of said parcels of land; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA: Section 1 . That the parcels of land hereinafter described are hereby annexed and incorporated into the Village of Tequesta, with the same force and effect as though the same had been originally incorporated into the territorial boundaries thereof, the same being described as follows: PARCEL 1 : A parcel of land in Section 30, Township 40 South, Range 43 East, Palm Beach County, Florida, more particularly described as follows: From the point of intersection of the south line of said Section 30 with the westerly right -of -way line of State Road No. 5 (U. S. Highway No. 1) as said right -of -way line is shown on the plat of right -of -way of State Road No. 5 recorded in Road Plat Book 2, pages 105 to 118, inclusive, public records of Palm Beach County, Florida, run westerly along the south line of said Section 30, a distance of 472.93 feet; thence northerly at right angles to the south line of said Section 30, a distance of 120 feet to the point of beginning and the southeast corner of the parcel of land herein described; thence continue along the same course northerly, a distance of 180 feet; thence westerly, parallel to the south line of said Section 30, a distance of 5.00 feet; thence northerly, at right angles to the preceding course, a distance of 5.39 feet; thence westerly, parallel to the south line of said Section 30, a distance of 301.32 feet, more or less, to a point in the easterly right -of -way line of the Old Dixie Highway; thence southerly along said easterly right -of -way line, a distance of 220 feet to a point in a line parallel to, and 120 feet north of the south line of said Section 30; thence easterly along said parallel line, a distance of 226.29 feet, more or less, to the point of be- ginning; heretofore deeded under date of September 15, 1958, executed by Loxahatchee Corporation, a Florida corporation, to Rinker Materials Corporation, said deed being recorded in Official Record Book 240, page 63, public records of Palm Beach County, Florida; PARCEL 2 : A parcel of land in Section 30, Township 40 South, Range 43 East, Palm Beach County, Florida, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point in the West right -of -way line of State Road No. 5 (U. S. Highway No. 1) at a distance of 1210.37 feet northerly, measured along the said West right -of -way line, from the South line of said Section 30; thence westerly, parallel to and 1207.40 feet northerly from and measured at right angles to the south line of the South- east Quarter of Section 30, a distance of 125.0 feet; thence northerly parallel to the West right - of -way line of said State Road No. 5 a distance of 130.0 feet; thence easterly parallel to the south line of said Section 30 a distance of 125.0 feet to a point in the West right -of -way line of said State Road No. 5; thence southerly along said West right -of -way line of State Road No. 5 a distance of 130.0 feet to the point of beginning; heretofore deeded by udilliam W. Blakeslee, as Trustee and individually, joined b his wif Anita F. Blakeslee, to Service Sta ion Devefdpme Corporation, a Florida corporation, by deed d ated February 6, a publicrrecordsOfficial Record ofPalm Beach Book 304 ;age County, Florida; -2- PARCEL 3 : A parcel of land in Section 30, Township 40 South, i:ange 43 East, Palm Beach County, Florida, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the westerly right -of -way line of U. S. Highway No. 1 (State Road. No. 5) with a line parallel to and 613.76 feet Northerly from (measured at right angles to) the South line of Southwest Quarter of said Section 30, as shown on the Plat of the right -of- way of State Road No. 5, recorded in County Road Plat Book 2, pages 105 to 118 inclusive, public records of 'alm Beach County, Florida, thence westerly along said parallel line a distance of 160.81 feet, thence southerly at right angles a distance of 150 feet, thence Easterly at right angles a distance of 150 feet to an intersection with the Westerly right -of -way line of said U. S. Highway No. 1 (State 11 No. 5) , thence Northerly along the Westerly right -of -way line of said State Road No. 5 a distance of 150.39 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. Section 2 . That said parcels of land shall be subject to all of the ordinances, regulations and codes of said Village.
