AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA,
FLORIDA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION UNDER
THE PROVISIONS OF FLORIDA LAWS, 1961,
CHAPTER 61 -2944 TO ANNEX THE FOLLOWING
DESCRIBED UNINCORPORATED AND CONTIGUOUS
TRACT -OF LAND, SITUATE, LYING AND BEING
IN THE COUNTY OF PALIK BEACH, STATE OF
FLORIDA, TO -WITS
A parcel of land in Section 30, Township 40 South,
Range 43 East, Palm Beach County, Florida, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the West right -of -way
line of State Road No. 5 (U. S. Highway No. 1)
at a distance of 1210.37 feet northerly, measured
along the said West right -of -way line, from the
South line of said Section 30; thence westerly,
parallel to and 1207.40 feet northerly from and
measured at right angles to the south line of
the Southeast Quarter of Section 30, a distance
of 125.0 feet; thence northerly parallel to the
West right -of -way line of said State Road No. 5
a distance of 130.0 feet; thence easterly parallel
to the south line of said Section 30 a distance
of 125.0 feet to a point in the West right -of -way
line of said State Road No. 5; thence southerly
along said West right -of -way line of State Road
No. 5 a distance of 130.0 feet to the point of
beginning; heretofore deeded by William W.
Blakeslee, as Trustee and individually, joined by
his wife, Anita F. Blakeslee;., to Service Station
Development Corporation, a Florida corporation,
by deed dated February 6, 1959, and recorded in
Official Record Book 304, page 346, public records
of Palm Beach County, Florida;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA,
FLORIDA:
Section 1 . That pursuant to the provisions of Florida Laws,
1961, Chapter 61 -2944, it is hereby declared to be the intention
of the Village of Tequesta, Florida, to annex the following described
unincorporated and contiguous tract of land, situate, lying and being
in the County of Palm Beach, State of Florida, to -wit:
A parcel of land in Section 30, Township 40 South,
I:ange 43 East, Palm Beach County, Florida, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the West right -of -way
line of State Road No. 5 (U. S. Highway No. 1)
at a distance of 1210.37 feet northerly, measured
along the said West right -of -way line, from the
South line of said Section 30; thence westerly,
parallel to and 1207.40 feet northerly from and
measured at right angles to the south line of the
Southeast Quarter of Section 30, a distance of 125.0
feet; thence northerly parallel to the West right -
of -way line of said State Road No. 5 a distance of
130.0 feet; thence easterly parallel to the south
line of said Section 30 a distance of 125.0 feet
to a point in the West right -of -way line of said
State Road. No. 5;.thence southerly along said West
right -of -way line of State Road No. 5 a distance
of 130.0 feet to the point of beginning; heretofore
deeded by William W. Blakeslee, as Trustee and indivi-
dually, joined by his wife, Anita 1 Blakeslee, to Service
Station Development Corporation, a Florida corporation,
by deed dated February 6, 1959, and recorded in
Official dtecord Book 304, page 346, public records of
Palm Beach County, Florida;
to the 'Village of Tequesta at the expiration of thirty (30) days
from the approval and final passage of this Ordinance.
Section 2 . That upon final passage this Ordinance shall
thereupon be published once a week for four (4) consecutive weeks in
some newspaper published in Palm Beach County, Florida, and three (3)
printed copies of said Ordinance shall be posted for four (4)
consecutive weeks at some conspicuous place in said Village, and
three (3) copies shall in like manner be posted in the district to
be annexed.
