AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA
ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE TERRITORIAL
L114ITS OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA
WHEREAS, sub- section (29) of Section 3 of ARTICLE V
of the Charter of the Village of Tequesta grants the Village
Council the power to annex any lands adjoining or within three
miles of the territorial boundaries of said municipality upon
the petition of the owner or owners thereof; and
W=HEREAS, GEORGE W. OFFUTT, III, the owner of certain
land situated in Palm Beach County, Florida, has filed a petition
with the Village Council requesting that the land described
therein be annexed tothe territorial limits of the Village of
Tequesta, copy of said petition being attached hereto and made
a part hereof as if fully and completely set forth herein,
NOW, T`dEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the parcels of land described in the
petition hereinabove mentioned and 'riereto attached are hereby
annexed and incorporated into the Village of Tequesta, and the
same shall be and become a part of the Village of Tequesta with
the same force and effect as though the same had been originally
incorporated into the territorial boundaries thereof.
And, further, that said land shall be subject to all
of the ordinances, regulations and codes of said Village.

The undersigned, being the owner of the following
described property, to -wit:
A parcel of land in the Northeast Quarter
(NE- of the Southeast Quarter (SE;) of
Section 25, Township 40 South, Range 42
East, Palm Beach County, Florida, more
particularly described as follows:
All of that portion of the Northeast Quarter
(NE4) of the Southeast Quarter (SE4) of said
Section 25, LESS the South 275 feet thereof,
measured at right angles to the South line,
lying east of the east right -of -way line of
Seabrook Road as described in deed recorded
�j in Official Records Book 524, page 211,
public records of Palm Beach County, Florida;
hereby petitions the Village of Tequesta, Florida, to annex
said property to the territorial limits of said Village;
and consents to the immediate adoption of all ordinances
in connection therewith.
